The Bear River Casino is a great little casino with a very friendly atmosphere. They have all the machine and table games anyone would need. There is a nice little cafe and a fabulous bar with good bartenders. I would recommend visiting while staying in the area from Fortuna to Eureka.

LOLETA / CA â MAY 7, 2020: The Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria and Bear River Casino Resort located in Loleta, California donated $2,000 to help support The Betty Kwan Chinn Homeless Foundation and Food for People. The Tribe recognizes the importance of these organizations and the crucial roles they play in our community, especially during these difficult times:

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, both the Tribe and Casino have developed community support initiatives designed to help those that are most affected. They have delivered pizzas to essential businesses with pizzas purchased from local establishments, donated meals to Tribal Members and made donations to local organizations. The donations made to Food for People and The Betty Kwan Chinn Homeless Foundation will be used to help continue their efforts to feed community members. Bear River is proud to call Humboldt our home and family and looks forward to continuing to serve our community.
UPDATE 4/6/20: BEAR RIVER CASINO RESORT DELIVERS FOOD TO ESSENTIAL WORKERS
Bear River Casino Resort made surprise pizza deliveries from Funky Monkeyâs in Fortuna on Monday, April 6th to the Fortuna Grocery Outlet, Greenâs Pharmacy, Redwood Memorial Hospital and the Fortuna Fire Department. We will continue to deliver pizzas to essential workers each week throughout the month of April. All the pizzas will be purchased at local establishments in an effort to support local businesses.
We want to show our appreciation to our local heroes: medical professionals, first responders, military and essential staff. We are grateful and humbled by your acts of service during these unprecedented times. We are proud to call Humboldt our home and family and look forward to continuing to serve our community.
UPDATE 4/3/20: BEAR RIVER CASINO RESORT CLOSURE EXTENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
The Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria will continue the temporary closure of Bear River Casino Resort beyond the previous April 10th reevaluation date, to a later date that is to be determined. This decision is made in compliance with the active Shelter in Place Order that is in effect until rescinded by the County of Humboldt. The Tribe is continually monitoring updates on COVID-19 from The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), The World Health Organization (WHO), The National Institutes of Health (NIH), as well as Local, State, and Federal Governments and will reopen operations when it is considered safe to do so.
The following Bear River enterprises will remain closed: Bear River Casino, Hotel, Thirsty Bear Lounge, Rivers Edge Restaurant, and Express Café. In an effort to continue to serve the Tribal Community and local community by offering some basic necessities, the Pump and Play Gas Station and Convenience Store, as well as the Bear River Tobacco Traders drive thru will continue operations. Hours for the Pump and Play Convenience Store are 8am-10pm daily and 24/7 for the Pump and Play Fuel Pumps. The Bear River Tobacco Traders drive thru is open 8am-9pm Monday-Saturday and 10pm-8pm on Sunday.

A: The Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria temporarily closed Bear River Casino Resort on Tuesday, March 17th in response to the County of Humboldtâs shelter-in-place order due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The safety of its guests, employees, Tribal Members and community is the Tribeâs top priority.
In an effort to continue to serve our Tribal community and local community by offering some basic necessities, we will continue to operate our Pump and Play Gas Station and Convenience Store. Hours for the Pump and Play Convenience Store are 8am-10pm daily and 24/7 for the Pump and Play Fuel Pumps. The Bear River Tobacco Traders drive thru is open daily from 10am-5pm.

A: We do not have a set reopen date at this time. Q: What happens to my playerâs card while you are closed?
A: Your Playerâs Club Card will remain active and your tier status will be maintained. All Slot point balances and Comp balances will remain in your account.
Q: What will happen with March casino promotions?
A: The March of the Big Wins and Spring Staycation promotions will resume once we reopen. The earning period and drawing dates will be dependent on our reopen date. We will be sure to let you know that information as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time!
Q: What happens to my offers while the casino is closed? Will I get new offers once you are open again?
A: Your unredeemed March 16th-30thprinted offer vouchers will be honored once Bear River Casino Resort resumes normal operations. The redemption period for issued Winter Wonder Nights and Spring Staycation coupons will be extended by the number of days we are closed. April offers have been mailed out, however we will not honor any April offers that have an offer period during our temporary closure.
Q: What if my slot machine cash out voucher expires while Bear River Casino Resort is temporarily closed?
A: We are extending the expiration date for slot machine cash out vouchers 30-days from the date we reopen.
Q: Are you cleaning the casino?
A: Yes, most definitely. During our closure, we have been hard at work deep cleaning the entire facility with medical grade commercial cleaning products. From the inside to the outside of all our slot machines to every inch of the hotel, our property is as clean as can be!
Q: Is the Bear River Fighting Championship 13 postponed or canceled?
